FLOOR BEAMS

The floor beams are the primary structural component of the floor system. The choice between the two available beam sections depends on the specific span requirements, anticipated loads, and other relevant design factors.

175mm DEEP STANDARD SECTION

Primarily used in residential applications.

Can be used in double or triple configurations to support heavier loads, such as blockwork partitions, stair landings, and newel posts.

Can span distances up to 6.0 meters, depending on the applied loads.

175mm DEEP WIDE SECTION

An alternative to the standard beam for situations involving longer spans and greater imposed loads.

Can also be used alongside the standard section to optimise beam layouts and provide additional support where needed.

Can span distances up to 6.5 meters, depending on the applied loads.

TELESCOPIC UNDERFLOOR VENTILATOR & AIRBRICK

Telescopic underfloor ventilators are available in two vertical sizes (3 to 5 courses and 5 to 8 courses) dependant upon floor depth.

They provide a clear airflow to the void beneath deeper insulated suspended floor constructions - either polystyrene infill panels or insulation above the floor beams. Both types of underfloor ventilator can be supplied with a coloured airbrick (terracotta, buff, blue/black or brown) to coordinate with the colours of the external wall construction.
