Our Process: From Quote to Completion

At Rackham Housefloors, we pride ourselves on delivering a comprehensive, expertly managed service from your initial enquiry through to the final delivery.

Phase 1

Enquiry

Your journey begins with a simple enquiry.

Whether you're an Architect, Developer, Builders Merchant or self builder our Estimating and Sales teams are ready to assist you.

Submit your drawings and details via email to estimating@rackhamhousefloors.co.uk or on paper and our estimators will assess the information. We'll be in touch if we require any clarification, otherwise we will get to work on your design.

Phase 2

Design

DESIGN AND TECHINCAL SUPPORT

We offer a complimentary design service as part of every quotation.

You’ll receive a detailed proposal including a beam layout and product specification tailored to your requirements.
Utilising bespoke design software, we prepare detailed designs and drawings . Each drawing is drafted with structural loads; block types and finishes in mind.
We ensure compliance with Building Regulations and, with the Rackham TS System, factor in thermal efficiency as standard.
We send you documentation on the floor design before manufacturing and we recommend checking all dimensions against site measurements, particularly beam lengths.
Our Technical team is always available to discuss any queries and provide expert advice.

Phase 3

Delivery

Fast, Reliable Delivery - Nationwide

Fast Turnaround

We maintain high stock levels of 175mm prestressed concrete beams, both standard and wide sections, and EPS Infill panels and top sheet for our TS System – so we can often deliver in just a few days.

Nationwide Coverage

With two manufacturing sites across the UK Featherstone and Grantham — we offer nationwide delivery, using our fleet of purpose-built vehicles:

We will do our upmost to meet your delivery requirement,
Vehicle mounted crane offload or Customer offload
Regular routes to Leeds, Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, and
London.

On-Site Support

Planning Your Delivery

All we need from you:

Site address and access information,
Preferred delivery date – liaise with our Planning department,
Offloading method – Vehicle crane and finger grab (most popular) Vehicle
mounted forklift or site offload,
Our delivery team will liaise with you regarding an ETA ensuring that wherever possible site personnel aren’t waiting.
