Telescopic Cranked Underfloor Ventilators and Airbricks are used to ventilate the void beneath for floor.
Ceiling Clips to fit the 175 mm deep Rackham beams can be supplied, where required, to provide a fixing for timber battens to receive a plasterboard finish. The clips should be fixed after the flooring blocks have been positioned and before final grouting of the floor.
The clip is fixed in position by knocking the top lip projection into the joint between the beam and the flooring block, the bottom projection should fit under the soffit of the beam thereby securing the clip in position. It is then recommended that the clips fixing a timber batten are alternatively fixed on opposing sides of adjacent beams. The batten is then firmly secured by bending the two side prongs around the batten and nailing through the nail holes.
