The Moore's & Crossingham's

The company has been owned by Paul Moore ACMA, CGMA, (Chairman & Managing Director) since 1991 when he acquired the company from the Rackham family. His Son, Stephen Moore FMAAT (Financial Accountant and IT Manager) joining him in 1997, His Daughter - Donna Crossingham ACMA, CGMA, FMAAT (Management Accountant & Personnel Manager) joined in 1999 and Paul's Son in Law Peter Crossingham Dip NEBOSH, Grad IOSH & MSc (Health, Safety & Environmental Manager) joining Rackhams in 2013 all hold key roles within the company.

The Varley's

Roger Varley the Company's Technical & Production Director has been at Rackhams since 1986 (28 years ago) when he joined as a fresh faced Design Estimator and has risen through the Company to become one of the companies only two board members since the retirement of the Sales Director, David Andrews in April 2014 after 25 years' service. Roger, the longest serving member of Rackhams typifies the Rackham family approach to its workforce that once people join they have a tendency to stay.

Roger's Son, Sam Varley joined Rackhams in 2012 and is one of two Trainee Design Estimators in our busy Estimating Department. Sam has just completed year 2 of BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Construction & the Environment.

The Roe's

Chris Roe (Technical & Estimating Manager) has been at Rackhams since 1997, he was joined by his eldest Son Ben Roe (Trainee Accountant) in July 2013, who works in our Accounts Department and has just completed stage 2 of the AAT Accountancy qualification, Chris' youngest Son, Tom who joined as a Trainee Design Estimator in September 2013 who has just finished his first year of his Building Construction Diploma.

Cinderford Factory

Cinderford Production Team (191 years' combined service).

Wayne Askew - Factory Manager (1 years’ service) took over from his Step Father, Dennis Crowther, who at 81 years old and 25 years’ service decided it was time to make way for a younger man. Dennis is still employed by the company on a part time basis as a consultant at the factory.

Wayne’s Sister Sarah, replaced her Mother Sheila (Dennis’ Wife) as Office Administrator at Cinderford after Sheila retired at the age of 67 in January 2014 after 24 years’ service with Rackhams.
